POS v1.6.6
April 15, 2026

This update introduces a maximum discount limit for user groups to prevent excessive discounts, along with improved stability and faster stock checks during high activity. We’ve also made under-the-hood performance improvements to enhance speed when loading data. Fixes include register selection freezes, table image reloading issues, and occasional hangs after app updates.

Added
Maximum User Group Discount: If a user group has a maximum discount limit, the POS will now prevent higher discounts from being applied. If someone enters a discount above the allowed maximum, the POS shows a message and automatically reverts the discount back to the allowed limit (this applies on both item-level discount/price changes and the overall sale discount screen). Contact support to enable this feature.
Improved
Improved Stability for High Activity Screens: To help keep the POS responsive during heavy use, background API requests are now throttled (limited) so the app does not try to run too many requests at the same time.
Improved
Faster Multiple Stock Checks: Improved performance when several cart items need to check stock at once such as opening a parked sale.
Fixed
Register Selection Hang: Fixed an issue where the register selection page could sometimes freeze when loading a previously remembered register.
Fixed
Table Scrolling Reloading Images: Fixed an issue where scrolling left or right on tables with images could cause the images to reload repeatedly.
Fixed
Post App Update Hangs: Fixed an issue where, after updating the app by clicking on the update banner, the POS could sometimes get stuck on the shopping cart loading screen.
